TNOU Student Login: Enrolment Number, ABC ID and DEB ID

TNOU students can log in to the e-Portal using their Enrolment Number as the User ID and their Date of Birth (DDMMYYYY format) as the default password. Information regarding login procedures using ABC ID or DEB ID is not available in the university’s published sources as of 02 October 2026.

TNOU e-Portal Login with Enrolment Number

Students can access the TNOU e-Portal for admission procedures, academic activities, and to access Electronic Self-Learning Materials (E-SLMs).

  1. Go to the TNOU e-Portal login page.
  2. Select ‘Student’ as your role.
  3. Enter your Enrolment Number in the ‘User ID’ field.
  4. Enter your Date of Birth in DDMMYYYY format as the ‘Password’. For example, if your date of birth is 28th August 1992, your password will be 28081992.
  5. Click ‘Submit’.

Changing Your e-Portal Password

Upon successful login to the e-Portal, you are advised to change your password for security reasons.

  1. Log in to the TNOU e-Portal.
  2. Use the ‘change password’ option available in the left menu bar of the Portal.

Forgot Password Procedure

If you have forgotten your e-Portal password, you can reset it using your User ID and registered mobile number.

  1. Go to the TNOU Forgot Password page.
  2. Enter your User ID.
  3. Enter your Registered Mobile Number.
  4. Click ‘Submit’.
