Programme Fee

The programme fee for M.Sc. Psychology is Rs. 12000/- for two years. This fee is in addition to Registration and other charges.

Project Work Guidelines

M.Sc. students can register for project work with Course Code MSC-P4 in the final year. The project work carries a weight of 8 credits.

Students must prepare a project synopsis in consultation with a guide and send it to The Coordinator, Projects-MCA/MSC, School of Computer Science, TNOU. The synopsis should clearly state objectives, software category, and project details.

Guides can be faculty at the School of Computer Science, TNOU, faculty in colleges/institutions affiliated to any Indian university, or TNOU academic counsellors. A supervisor cannot guide more than five students.

The Project Proposal Proforma, along with a copy of the synopsis and the guide’s bio-data, must be submitted for approval. Incomplete proposals or those without a complete and signed guide bio-data will be rejected.

One typed copy of the project report (not exceeding 100 pages, Times New Roman 12″ size, 1.5 line spacing) must be submitted to The Coordinator, Projects-MCA/MSC, School of Computer Science, TNOU, along with the project evaluation fee.

For Calendar Year students, project reports submitted before December 31st will have results declared with the December term-end examinations.

The project work (Course Code MSC-P4) is evaluated for 200 marks: 150 marks for project evaluation and 50 marks for the viva-voce examination. The passing minimum is 50% overall (100 out of 200 marks), with at least 75 marks in project evaluation and 25 marks in viva-voce.

  • Project Proposal Submission: Send one copy of the Project Proposal Proforma, synopsis, and guide’s bio-data to The Coordinator, Projects-MCA/MSC, School of Computer Science, TNOU. Write “MCA-26/MSC-P4” prominently on the envelope.
