Tamil Nadu Open University (TNOU) conducts Term-End Examinations (TEE) in two shifts: Forenoon (10:00 AM to 1:00 PM) and Afternoon (2:00 PM to 5:00 PM). Practical Examinations and Project Deadlines

Practical counselling classes and practical examinations are held separately for science and professional programmes. Specific schedules can be checked on the TNOU practical examination schedule page.

  • M.LISc Practical Exam: Scheduled on 07 October 2026.
  • August 2026 Project Submission Deadline: Students appearing for TEE August 2026 must submit projects on or before 23 October 2026. Projects received after 23 October 2026 will not be accepted.
  • Practical Counselling and Exams (August 2026): Scheduled for M.Sc/B.Sc Geography, Physics, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, DNHE, B.Sc Apparel and Fashion Design, and Computer Practicals (BCA, MCA, B.Com CA, BBA CA).
